The Sulphur Bulldogs defeated the Davis Wolves on Tuesday Night on the road by a score of 64-46. The Dogs never trailed in the game. Jared Williams got the Dogs off to a good start scoring 8 points in the first quarter making 2 three pointers. The Bulldogs shot the ball well making 8 threes in the game. Houston Haines led the team with 17 points. Other scorers included: Jared Williams 11, Cole Johnson 9, John Jacobs 9, Braezen Flood 6, TJ Todd 3, Jakub Sharp 3, Weston Arms 3, and Cole Hammond 3. Sulphur has won 11 of the last 12 contests against Davis. The win moves the Dogs to 15-5 on the season. Sulphur will will start the most difficult 3 game stretch of their schedule at home on Friday night against the Plainview Indians. The Indians will come into the game with a record of 18-3 with losses against Kingston, Millwood, and Wewoka. Sulphur will follow that up with a home game vs #2 in 2A Latta on Saturday night and then a road game on Tuesday night against the Kingston Redskins, the #1 team in 3A.
