Meet Recap

The Sulphur Boys golf team finished 8th at the OSSAA 3A State Tournament on Tuesday in OKC at Lincoln Park Golf Course. 12 of 60 teams in 3A qualified for the state tournament. Plainview, Kingston, and Kingfisher were the only 3 public schools to finish ahead of the Dogs.

“I couldn’t be more proud of these guys. 3 of our players shot their lowest rounds of the season. We had our 2 lowest team totals for the year. The boys played their best golf when it counted the most. It was a great experience for the team to make it and then play so well. Hopefully we can get better over the summer and improve our finish at state next season. The boys worked really hard to achieve making the state tournament. It was cool to see them reach that goal.” -Coach T
